Pilot program taking flight in North Vancouver

We are now adapting our LALS 360 Jam Program to meet the needs of youth at the North Vancouver Disability Resource Centre. On Music Mondays, students get to explore a wide range of traditional instruments in addition to gesture-based devices and adaptive technology, empowering them to create music with a simple swipe of a finger.

We also guide students in the process of composing, recording, and sharing their music with friends and family. The program also incorporates visual arts as we encourage students to design their own Album Artwork. The potential for positive change is boundless, and we are excited to see how this pilot evolves.
